Back to the OP, I’m a bit surprised that the fat ads coach from Kansas is still alive. He was disgustingly obese. I truly don’t understand how people allow themselves to get so damn fat. It looks uncomfortable as Hell. I fight my own demons, but thank a God being a disgusting slob is not one of them. I can’t remember that guys name though...

Former Vikings HC Bud Grant is still alive at 90. I didn't know he was still alive until I saw his comments about Colin Kaepernick last year.

Seattle played at Minnesota in an outdoor playoff game in 2015 and the temperature was -6 at kickoff. Before the game, 88 year old Bud Grant walked out to midfield in short sleeves like a fricking boss.

3) Bill Russell (83) and Bob Pettit (85). You just don't see many guys over the age of 80 who are approaching 7 feet tall walking around. Honorable mention: Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who is 7'2 and 70 years old.

All of these guys are younger than I thought.

Otis Nixon was the opposite for me. When he was on the Braves in the early 90s, I always thought he was in his 40s. I was surprised at how young he was then.

Don Larsen is one that I'm surprised is still living. He's 88

Living to 102 is not normal, but holy shite that's a staggering fact.

ETA: Stagg coached from 1890-1959. Wow

I’m from Minnesota and he’s a great guy. He has a yearly garage sale and signs autographs of his stuff. He still hunts regularly.
