LOL. You must have never kept up with the women league when it was around. They absolutely sucked
I think it is time for people to come to terms with the fact that it is more than just physicality. Men are just more mentally strong than women. Like it or not, it is the truth. And competition is just as mental as it is physical

I scanned the thread and didn't see ultra long-distance races mentioned.
From a study:
The State of Ultra Running 2020
From a study:
quote:
Female ultra runners are faster than male ultra runners at distances over 195 miles. The longer the distance the shorter the gender pace gap. In 5Ks men run 17.9% faster than women, at marathon distance the difference is just 11.1%, 100-mile races see the difference shrink to just .25%, and above 195 miles, women are actually 0.6% faster than men.

Gender differences in pace
The average paces of both genders are quite close now. The female pace has changed from 12:25 to 13:23 min/mile - a slow down of 58 seconds (8%). The male pace has changed from 11:24 to 13:21 min/mile - a slow down of 1 minute 57 seconds (17%).

From Google AI, which could just be some message board post, lol:
Men’s dart records generally show higher scoring averages and more frequent nine-darters compared to women’s, though the gap is closing at the elite level. While men hold higher long-term statistical averages, elite women like Beau Greaves (114.56 record average) and Fallon Sherrock (first woman to hit a televised nine-darter) have recently produced performances that match top-tier men's scoring

Probably already been stated, but no, not even close.

Women: 44 women have earned the full Grandmaster (GM) title. The first was Nona Gaprindashvili in 1978.
Men: Approximately 2,113 men have earned the title

They're separated by sex because men would dominate.

No one is saying that some women can't beat some men at some things. The point of the thread is more about is there a sport where the top women are better than the top men.
Apparently running 200 miles might be one, but other than that there does not appear to be a single thing.

Gymnastics?
Gymnastics keeps getting thrown around, but comparing an event that both the men and women do, floor routine, the men seem to do far more advanced flips and twists with none of the bullshite dancing in between.

Guess what....men are better at hand-eye coordination. Men are better at gross motor skills

Swimming on boogie boards. Men aren’t used to their chest bobbing up and down

I mean shorten the course for women such that the approach game and in is as close as you can get it.
No way to make it exact, but can get reasonably close.
The problem with this is you can't account for carry distances, pinch-points, forced layups, doglegs, etc.
If the men are playing a 450yd par 4 with a water hazard at 175 out. It doesn't help if the women also have a second shot at 175 out. Even if their hole is only 375yds long.

The only thing I can come up with is golf. Shorten the course to adjust for driving disparity, and the rest of the game is basically hand-eye coordination.
If you shorten the course then it’s not golf. So putt putt would be the answer.
