Goddamn right. We also have a worse all-time winning percentage than the Cubs and had Harry singing drunk at Comiskey long before the Cubs hired him.

As a Saints fan it'll take some time to put together those moments as a kid I really thought they were cursed. Give me 2 weeks.

uh, are you serious?
About Buckner? He's right. Buckner had a bad ankle and shouldn't have been in the game. He was pulled late in the game for defensive reasons in the previous Red Sox wins in that series. No way he would have beat Mookie Wilson to first base, he had to hope Bob Stanley covered first base, but Stanley wasn't running hard to cover first. If he fields it cleanly at least he prevents Knight from scoring from second, but it definitely would have been an infield hit regardless IMO

I think the Lions have like one playoff win in 50 years or something.

Probably not the most cursed stretch, but the Royals' 29 year playoff drought starting the season after their first world championship was pretty bad.
Also, the Chiefs haven't appeared in the Super Bowl since 1969.
Also, anything Mizzou sports.

That's not cursed, that's just being awful franchise. Things like the bartman incident and Bill Buckner are more indicative of being cursed.
I agree, but I want to point out that those are specific "curses" to one sport....think about Cleveland...
Red Right 88
The Catch
The Shot
The Drive
The Fumble
The Blown Save
The Move
The Decision
Its unreal what Cleveland sports fans have gone through....and that's all major sports.

I mean it really is unbelievable how long these fans have suffered, also because Cleveland has GREAT fans. Some of the most loyal fans in the world.
Indians - 68 year drought
Browns - 0 Super Bowls, 0 Super Bowl appearances
Cavs - 0 NBA Titles

I'll give it to you that Cleveland as a city has been cursed/down on their luck.
But please don't include Jordan's "the shot" as part of that curse... It was the first round of the playoffs and they still would have needed to beat the Pistons or lakers.
I'll definitely give you the drive & the fumble. The Ravens 2 Super Bowls is like adding salt to the wound.
It's also amazing that those mid 90s Indians teams didn't win one World Series. They were the best team in baseball for a 5 year period or so.

If it wasn't for the Hakeem the Dream and the 90's Rockets, the City of Houston would be up there with Cleveland in terms of cursed sports cities.
Oilers - they were close but still so far. ridiculous owner and a city that did not want to take part in the investment of the franchise. the game against Buffalo in '92 is worse than anything that happened to Cleveland. left the city in the 90s for a worse version of Austin.
Texans - ehhhhh. get a QB and call me.
Astros - close in the 80's and 90's but otherwise we were mostly bad. World Series in the 2000s but we could not even win a game.
Rockets - it took a hometown kid (kinda) in Hakeem to put things over the top for the franchise. that success has helped management be aggressive in terms of trying to find that magic again.
not too far off from Cleveland... Some of their failures are a little bit more dramatic and they probably have had more "deeper in the playoffs" success... but we have some titles.

Not just that, but they have only been to one title game/series in that span.
