Wow, wow, wow! Speed and power were all Bud's tonight. That countergame and precision, footwork, were just out of this world.

He made a HOF fighter look like he just didn't belong. It takes a lot to shock me, but tonight I can't believe how overwhelming this was.

Folks, Bud Crawford is the pound for pound.

Bud finally shut up all the nonsense he was too old to be fighting Spence.

Very impressive, completely outclassed a legit opponent. Spence got battered, but he was game and kept coming even though he lost his legs early and got battered all night.

I really should’ve known that Spence +120 was a rat line

Amazing job by Crawford from start to finish. His double jab from southpaw was beautiful

Second knockdown of the night was classic Crawford, on the ropes counter punching, just an accurate well-timed upper cut that sent Spence to the canvas.

Haven't seen a fighter just rise up to the occasion like that for what was considered to be an even super fight

Bud was fricking amazing

Did Jim Gray just ask Spence at what weight does he want the rematch? What an idiot. 103 belts are hanging on Bud's shoulder at welterweight for the rematch and Gray wonders at what weight.

I believe There was a clause saying the winner could decide the weight of the rematch.

Qeustion:

Crawford's trainer v. Al Swearengen who wins in battle of the f*ck word? That battle would be alot closer than the fight tonight.

I'm not shocked Bud beat him, but it's shocking how onesided it was. I expected Spence to look bigger in the ring too, but Bud, to me, looked like he was just the bigger man. He was literally walking through anything Spence was throwing and was just tossing him around. It was devastating and amazing.

Bud is that dude, I figured him to win but not like that. Made Spence look like a gatekeeper level fighter.

This was a mismatch. Not sure how damn near everyone didn't see this happening.

Spence’s layoff plus health issues really showed up tonight. Dude wasn’t ready for Crawford at all and got whooped.
Yep. As stated, Crawford is the pound for pound.

After sleeping on it I still can't believe Bud took a legit P4P fighter and completely destroyed. After the 3rd round he completely clowned Spence and I'm a huge Spence fan.

Something was off with Spence. Maybe it's the weight drain, I'm not sure but he was slow with ZERO defense. He reflexes were terrible. Bud is fast but dayum.

I fault Derrick James for some of this. He had no back up plan when they figured they couldn't walk Bud down because of that thudding jab. Maybe everyone will shut up about him being some super trainer or something now.

Amazing fight to watch but I'm not sure I need to see it again and if it's at 154 there's nothing to fight for.

Tim Tszyu was right, even he beats Spence's arse at 154.

I haven't read the whole thread but how about that Cabrera kid? Damn what a chin. If he can ever learn to keep his hands up he's gonna be a problem at 135 and with that frame he's going to outgrow LW very quickly.

Crawford systematically broke down Spence after that first round, it was a treat to just watch him counter all night long.

And Spence is a hell of a fighter who breaks down defenses really well in fights previously.

This same thing would happen at 154, 165, 264, etc. Crawford is superior is every way

Crawford at 1, Inoue at 2

Those were some insanely impressive performances by both against the best competition
