Tulane has had some really bad teams over the years yet they have never lost to a 1aa school. Tulane will probably only win one game this year and its this week.

Tulane 31
SLU 24

Tulane hasn't played many FCS teams either. They either played a SWAC school or really bad SLU teams and went to OT with NW State one year. This SLU team is by far the best FCS team they will have played.

If McNeese can almost win at Nebraska, SELU can win at Tulane.

Tanner Lee is the starter, he's better than both. Powell is 2nd string

I really want SLU to win, but Tulane prolly will. But as we have seen the past few years, the top level FCS level teams are very competitive with the lower end FBS teams

Always been the case. Grumbling beat some mid level to low level 1-A competition back in the late 70's /early 80's(decline of HCBU football). Played top 10 SMU with Dickerson /James to a near draw once.

That NSU team Tulane played was a strong team. McNeese played Tulane with some tough teams as well.

I really do think many people are underestimating Tulane while overestimating SLU right now.

How long of a ban are we talking about? I've got Tulane.

Totally agree and that's not to say Southeastern cant/wont win, but it seems some people are expecting an easy win for SELU. I don't see that.

Tulane is only one of two teams with a legit shot to beat SLU this year

Guessing McNeese is the other, even though we are at home.

I think the average CFB fan in LA is underestimating what SLU has outside of Hammond. That being said no win is "an easy win". SLU will have to put the preparation in to go undefeated in the SLC again this year although I'm sure they will be 7+ point favorites in most of the games. That's why they play the games though. Anything can happen.

Bryan Bennett will pass for 300+ yards and run for 150 with 4TDs.

CJ has said it himself. That slu might be the most talented team they play all year. Also, scouts have said they are the second most talent in the state behind LSU obviously. Their QB, LB's and DB's all have next level talent
