re: Southeastern Lions vs. Tulane Greenwave Prediction thread

Southeastern plays in an approximately 7,000 seat stadium high school size. There clam to fame is that they can bring in great athletes from major schools that are failing academically or major discipline problems such as Baptiste from Tulane that can play immediately. Tulane wins by 3 points.

I admire your optimism but not your football smarts. SLU will win by at least 10 points IMO. The Lions just have a better team than the Green Wave does atm.

I guess Bennett was failing academically or a discipline problem at Oregon. Lot of local guys on both sides of the ball that start and make a great impact on the game. Baptiste is only transfer with some trouble. Eugene was just not playing at lsu so transferred here. Slu 34-24. Could get ugly late if Tulane can't run the ball

You guess wrong. A simple google search will pull up that he left for more playing time. Mariota took over and basically was told he had the job for the next 3 years, so Bennett came here as a transfer so that he could start. He could have transferred at the end of last year but liked SLU so much he stayed to try again for a NC.

And of course a Cowboy has to strut up in here and stink up the thread.

Sarcastic zantrax. Was making fun of higher up poster who said all Slu gets is tranfers who are trouble or academically inclined.

You're an idiot if you really think this. Eugene failed multiple drug tests and was failing academically.

I think some of the Lion fans are severely overestimating their team right now in relation to the upper-FCS and lowe/mid level FBS teams.
I also don't think they realize just how good NDSU and Montana are come playoff time.
Really suprised how confident/borderline cocky some of the Lion fans are when they haven't exaclty done anything to be that cofident/cocky.

Eugene was passed up on depth chart also

Seems if he is so good he could have gone to a bigger and better program and academic institute than SLU.

Mcneese would be the only opponent with a chance to beat them, but we all know how well that has gone for the cowboys the last two years lol
