UCA, NSU, SFA, and Nicholls all got kicked in the nuts a year ago by SLU and none of them have improved.

Oh, and since you're such an expert, maybe you can tell me what week SLU and Sam Houston play this year? I'll hang up and listen. Dipshit.

Forgot that the Southland has an unbalanced schedule this year with the addition to UIW, HBU and ACU added and thus Sam Houston will not play SLU this year. My mistake.

Last I checked the Lions were only up 23-22 over the Demons heading into the 4th quarter and were only up 8 with 4 minutes to play. Not exactly getting kicked in the nuts. The Demons will be under their second year with Thomas. They have some solid talent and were not far away from the top dogs last year.

Yes, you beat SFA, UCA and Nicholls pretty bad.

First, SFA and UCA are both better than last year. While they shouldn't beat you it isn't an automatic win.

On to Nicholls. There were many years that the top dog in the SLC were clearly ahead of Nicholls. Many times in this conference good teams have fallen. Nicholls has a history a playing the big dogs in this conference very tough and have given many a good scare on the bayou.

And drop the stupid condensending attitude. If anyone in this conference deserves to act like that its McNeese, who has actually been to a national title game and has been an SLC and national power since before you had a team.

Everyone in the SLC respects SLU and many, including myself, are hoping the Lions do well this year. But please do not kid yourself into thinking that anyone in the conference is scared of the Lions. You have one playoff win. Compared to McNeese, Sam, NSU and SFA you have done nothing that is considered impressive.

You wanna talkk Southland football, I'm all ears. But please remember that you are the new dogs on the block and you have a lot to learn.

And the only team to ever get "kicked in the nuts" in the series was Southeastern when we slaughtered you 87-27.

In case you forgot:

Best of luck to the Lions this year. You do have a ton of talent and should win the league. I am pulling for the Lions to make a deep run in the playoffs if that happens.

This years SLU team is 14 points better than last years SLU team so I hope NSU has improved that much as well so they can "keep it close" again.

That's a mistake. I would be very afraid coming to Hammond to play that team. There is some NFL talent on that team not named Bryan Bennett.

Why? Not like they are the only SLC team to ever have NFL talent on their roster. Every few years someone rises to the top of the SLC with some transfers and steals. SFA did it a few years back, Sam Houston made back to back trips to the national title game,SLU is on the upside right now.

Do we respect SLU? Yes, have a lot of respect for them. Are we scared of them? Hell no

Nothing to be scared of as it has happened before and it will happen again. Going to be a lot tougher to run through the SLC than people are expecting.

Like I said, SLU has done nothing that hasn't been done before. Yes, they should win the SLC title this year. BUt there are a few teams that could definitely knock them off.

As far as national title, I don't see them (or anyone) knocking off NDSU.

Both have good points. As of now offense looks down from last year but defense looks better. This game should tell us how good SLU will be.

Geaux Lions!

Will be in section 117 section O seat 3 at Yulman Stadium.

I agree the defense is better but the offense is ranked 5th nationally after two games, averaging 42 points, 520 yards per game, and 7.0 yards per play. Small sample size but better numbers than last year.
