I have always been a huge fan of Coach Knight. All people see is his abrasive nature and not all the good he has done in this world.
Anyone who follows college hoops knows he is on the Mount Rushmore of coaches. His time at Indiana went a little too long, but the way they did him was wrong.
Watching him go back to Assembly Hall brought a tear to my eye. Unfortunately, he showed his age and probably wont be around much longer.

I think I know why LSU fans hate Knight. It’s because he told the truth in 87 “In fact, my assistants had just about given up, and so had I. Then I looked down toward the other bench, and I saw Dale Brown standing there. I knew then that we had a chance.” LSU folded after he intimidated their legend.

Yeah that's it. Other than the Trump thing he's a big ol teddy bear.
I actually like Bobby Knight but a lot of his troubles have been from self-inflicted wounds.

The Brand stuff was a hit by Brand.
The Whip in PC was a joke people laughed then got offended 2 or 3 days later.
ESPN was shifting when they put that 30 out. They wanted him for years calling games. He leaves they show the 30 for 30
Feinstein stretches the truth. Especially about the Alford’s.
His players loved him. The ones that left always blamed him yet none of them ever were successful after they left. Except Bird and Callaway.
Coach Sam told me things that Coach did for people and he kept it quiet, it’s amazing the charity and concern he had for people.
Coach was a dick if you crossed him and didn’t follow simple rules. Just like he told kids that he recruited. Coach K is a bigger dick than Knight and dirtier.
