Phil won less than 16 months ago too. And I’m confident he is done winning

This second wave of players leaving will be a huge blow.

Rumors everywhere Morikawa is next.

That would be a huge blow.

If you take Tiger out of the mix, because he doesn’t play but 3 majors in a year and no other regular events, there may be more majors won on the LIV Tour than the PGA Tour.

If you take the haven't been in contention in a while 40+ yr old major winners on the LIV out of the equation...

Morikowa would by far be the biggest get for LIV

So far, they have gotten older players or what is seen as douche bags. Morikowa is young, likeable, and appears to have a lot of wins ahead of him

The question will be “who wins more majors currently and going forward”

Right now it’s Non LIV-1, LIV-0

The LIV has one player in the Top-15 from the OWGR. I mean, that was a given this week based on the odds

Right. Kinda the point. As of now the PGA tour and DP tour still hold the current top competitors

He just won less than 16 months ago and has two T-5 or better finishes this season.

A year ago he was in the final pairing at the PGA.

Brooks hasn’t had a great year, but he’s certainly not “done winning”.

So their 1st event, they only had 4 players in the field ranked in the top 50. Since then they've DOUBLED that with the addition of Reed, Bryson, Ancer, & Koepka. With even more to come..
Oh & Norman said they just submitted their application yesterday for OWGR points. LINK

Brooke injury def still looks like it’s effecting his swing

However, if Brooks is still focused and working hard he is still a future winner. But do we think he is a guy that wants to do that? Or does he want the big payout and get to focus on other things?

That’s not Mickelson, he won a major last summer

That’s not Brooks, he’s not 40+
That not Pat Reed, he’s not 40+
That’s not Bryson, he’s not 40+

The PGA is going to have to give in to this league and allow their players to play both tours. It’s going to keep getting worse and they are basically in no position to strong arm. Their LIV policies only hurt themselves

Jay Monahan is on the governing body of the OWGR…..

LIV with no ranking points effectively kills itself

I don’t think you understand. These players aren’t affected by a Tour or back-ended major ban. Who do you think that hurts the most?

Golf Channel has been pimping the Wednesday Jay Monahan press conference all day yesterday so they had to know more were leaving.

seriously, are you paid by the PGA tour to fight this hard for it? Literally one cares what you think about every intimate detail.

Good players are going to continue to defect and the PGA will either adapt or die.
