That a game like the Giants game last night would pull in more viewers than a game between two really good small market teams.

I know the Dallas game was the worst local rating in recent memory. Last year was a 30. This year was 18.

I'm telling you, they make the schedules months in advance.

So are you saying around week 8 or 9, the nfl should just move the "good" matchups to primetime. If so, I hate that idea.

They do this. It's called flex scheduling.

Adjusting the kickoff time is far different from adjusting the day of the game.

What is your recommendation? They cannot flex Thanksgiving day games like a regular Sunday.

So a better game would have been between to good small market teams like Green Bay and the Indianapolis Colts?

Just get rid of all the big market teams. They suck.

I'm sure the clown is talking as if this were a Sunday game. Can't possibly be dumb enough to think they would move a Sunday game to a Thursday.

He was acting like it was a crazy idea that the NFL would consider moving better games to primetime. I informed him they already do.

How am I a clown?

If you wanted to go to the Giants-Redskins yesterday it was cheap. Saw something about it on Fox Business and went to Stub Hub. Standing room tickets were $7. Seats in upper deck were $10. If you wanted to fork out a bit more you could have had seats on the 25 in level 2((club equivalent) for $38.44 each. For $78 you could have sat between 20s in field level seats.

Cowboy tickets weren’t quite as cheap but about 40% of their “ normal” aftermarket prices. Ticket prices have cratered.

So you're telling me you think, say, Jags-Saints would have gotten better ratings than Giants-Redskins?
