DeMaco Ryans and Aaron Glen are probably not ready to be a HC, but they are close.
Ryans has been a coordinator for one year
BoB the Coach is decently successful, BoB the GM is horrendous.

Bowles had a shot. His teams sucked.
Bienemiy or whatever must be a terrible interview.
As a Falcons fan, I wouldn't hire Quinn, either, but he does have the best resume of the former coaches you listed.
Leftwich should go to Jax. Fits too well.

I said Ryans and Glenn were close... it would be a stretch to hire them now but this is a league that hired a fired Texas Tech coach.

Rex Ryan was a fantastic defensive coordinator, and well known coach, and it took him 6 years to become a head coach.

52-48 as an NFL head coach. 4 division titles in 6 full seasons but the first two the AFC South was absolutely horrendous.

It’s an offensive league and very few black candidates from offensive side of ball.
Jim Caldwell made it
Leftwich is trying to.
Bienemy is struggling to.
It’s the nfl’s fault they have catered the game to offense

Glenn would be a stretch because the Lions D wasn't good enough but one year as DC got Staley and Vrabel hired.

Well he torched his last year there with his GMing, but he took a 2-14 team to consecutive 9-7 seasons before trading possibly the best WR in football for a washed up RB and losing the locker room. I don't see how that's horrendous.
Hell, Leslie Frazier was 21-32-1, and Vance Joseph was 11-21
Todd Bowles was 26-41

the fact that there were only 8 minority head coaches in NFL history prior to it is pretty nuts
The Broncos are for sale. Buy them and hire Flores.

He was a disaster this year at bama imo. His play calling lost the A&M game
Posted on 2/1/22 at 7:37 pm to WestCoastAg
I think disaster is strong, but I also don't particularly care about BoB, I just think it's comical that people shite all over him when, if you remove his horrendous bottom of the barrel GM'ing, he's shown to be a decent coach at the NFL level.

Word on Bienemy is he’s an a-hole and doesn’t get along with anyone.

Yeah, that’s bullshite.
There are already awarding draft picks for developing minority talent. The next move will be to award for hiring minorty talent.

I feel like they have had a bit more time to rebuild.
BOB will probably get another chance as a HC.

When they decided to award the draft picks to the team that lost the coach / front office man, it was said that the reason they didn't award the pics to the hiring team is because the black coaches/admins themselves said they did not want the fact picks would be available to be a reason they are hired.

If I had to guess, he'll end up as NE's O-Coordinator, ride the wave of Jones progressing to a top 8-11 type QB, and springboard that into a HC gig somewhere in the NFL.

Really addressing the point of my post

They were only required to interview "minorities"; not hire them. And any self respecting "minority" should have voted no on such a rule even existing, because it makes a mockery of both the hiring process and the "minorities" involved.
Anyone who acts surprised by this story is just lying. Organizations will hire who they want, and if their guy isn't a black guy, then the black guy is going to be subject to a pretend interview. It just so happens that it got out this time.
There are only two "solutions". One is to get rid of the stupid rule (the only TRUE solution). The other is to actually force "minority" hires on teams. That would be the epitome of racism. But, somehow, it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. I'd love to see the NFL try to implement forced hires, and just see how it implodes. That would be some real entertainment.

I have faith that the savior complex of those in charge will have them ignoring the wishes of those they are are attempting to save.
