Smart game manager who does just enough to not let his team lose and the defense win? Or potential superstar 5,000 yard thrower? I like the kid.

"Game manager" is kind of misleading when your QB rating is 110.

He will never come close to this. He has three 300 yard games in his career. He is a fairly high ceiling game manager. He could be the Derek Jeter of football.

He may be a bit above game manager, but I wouldn't say it's misleading based on his QB rating. He's not really asked to do much passing. More than 20 guys threw as many passes as he did last year.

He's good but I wouldn't be surprised if Seattle doesn't give him 20 mil

Somewhere in between.

He's a very smart game manager that also has really nice athletic ability.

I don't think he's going to be Peyton Manning or Brees throwing for 5k plus yearly, but he's also not just a "game manager".

For what they run, he's pretty perfect.

throws a good deep ball in my opinion.

meh... they run the ball too much for him to throw for that much. Maybe he will some other season down the line but I don't think so this year.

There is something off about him. I'm not talking about anything regarding football. He's a great QB and I would love him on my team.

Him personally.

No one is that nice, perfect, and responsible all the time. He recently got a divorce and his wife signed a "confidentiality agreement" to not talk about their relationship or Russell at all. Its not just that, I just get a feeling something is off about him. No proof, no anything, just a gut feeling.

ETA:

I think he's going to get caught with a shemale or something.

The guy has thrown 26 passing TD's each season since his arrival into the NFL. I don't know if I would call that "game managing". I would call it "being an integral part of the offense".

His poise is amazing. He always knows exactly what he is doing when he's making a read down the field or tucking it and running.

I'd say he's a top 10 QB right now.

Did you all like him better at NC State or Wisconsin?

Flacco threw more interceptions than TD's last season, and his QB Rating is was 73 last season.

Wasn't his wife like a superstar Christian girl or something who'd dated him for a long time?

It certainly struck me as weird, although perhaps he just decided to make a ruthless financial decision.

Correct. When he had to put his team on his back. Alex Smith was great when he had the Wilson role. What happened when he left that system?
