Do enitre teams get quaranteed and cancel games?

In 1918 during the Spanish Flu, MLB cancelled the final month of the regular season and moved up the World Series to early September. I don't know why the NBA and NHL can't do the same thing if this thing ends up getting really bad.

To be completely honest, i hadn't even thought about it like this. Its a legit question. If any of these athletes come down with this virus, this is going to do serious damage to the sporting calendar. I can see leagues canceling months of sporting events. At this point, the Olympics are in serious jeopardy. Lord this is getting out of control...thanks China

Any athlete that gets this likely wont go get tested, because they will simply think they have a very standard cold

Not so sure about that
Now I think they're going to test all of them, especially with how it's a big thing.
Any kind of symptoms they'll get tested. They won't be hurt by it of course, but they'll still get tested to know what it is.

If any athlete has the cough and the sniffles their team doctors will test them
