So having an opinion makes someone a bitch? Some like parity, some prefer dominant programs. Nothing wrong with either, but you keep acting all big and bad on a message board lol

It has also created a worse product. Games are sloppier, players are more or less fundamentally unsound, and the quality of QB play is absolutely atrocious week in and week out.

This is true. And I still don’t think there are more than 6 or 7 teams, tops, that are good enough to have the consistency to actually win a national championship in even the 12 team format.

Yes, Auburn can beat Georgia, or FSU can beat Miami, but neither of those teams can win 3 or 4 games in a row against good teams. And, in fact, they’d get blown out in one of them, like we’ve already seen this season. And that’s what the people who can’t see the trees through the forest don’t realize

The best QB in the country is either in Corvallis or Stillwater, and I love that

Wouldn’t it be nice for Mercer or North Texas to be excited to have a good QB instead of having their best players poached?

I bet Southern Miss was excited to have Brett Favre, Purdue to have Brees, Virginia Tech to have Michael Vick, Miami of Ohio to have Ben Rothlesberger, Wyoming to have Josh Allen, Iowa State to have Brock Purdy, etc.

Teams go through cycles. Florida State & Tennessee were the top teams in the late 90s, then it was Oklahoma, Miami, Ohio State, LSU and USC. After that it was Florida the alabama, Then Clemson was the big team, then UGA, and now the Big10 Michigan, Ohio State and Indiana.

There’s a difference between parity and mediocrity. alabama is the exception of a team being good for so long. Everyone else has ups and downs.
I know that. I don’t mean the same teams dominating year after year. I mean all the “good” teams in any given year are all equally average.

I liked when there were clear tiers. There were usually 1 to 3 teams every year that looked clearly better than the rest and had a case to be a national champion.

Are you retarded? Serious question.

None and I mean none of the serious college athletes that are getting NIL, give 2 fricks about college education.

We’ve not had wild Saturdays before?

I’m pretty sure we have.

Newsflash: sports fans don't really want parity. They want dynasties. When the Dodgers or Yankees get eliminated from the MLB postseason, ratings usually crater. No one really wants to see a Royals/Rays/Mariners vs Marlins/Pirates/Brewers World Series. Watch the excitement if there's a Chargers vs Tampa Bay Super Bowl one year. People say they love parity; they really don't.

Yeahhhhhh it’s not true.

You are acting like there hasn’t been multiple big upsets in the pre-transfer portal era.
