This is where social media continues to destroy a nation. A few dozen virtue signalers now constitute the "majority" opinion of a nation of over 300 million. There will probably be some statement of apology all to appease a few dozen losers while the REALITY is 99.999% of NFL fans aren't offended by the comment and, in fact, probably agree with it. Of course, most of them aren't on Twitter and their opinion differs from the virtue signaling media, so clearly their position is the minority position.

It used to be if you were a loser, a misfit, a perpetually aggrieved pussy, society just casted you off to the side and moved on without you. Now, political and corporate policies are made every day to appease the ever changing whims of these misfits...which can NEVER be satisfied because their self identity is being a loser and/or a perpetual victim of some sort.

If Troy apologizes then I will lose any respect I had for him. This is nothing more than the liberal keyboard warriors attempting to male an alpha make bend a knee to them.

Comment was spot on. frick Twitter and its weak gallery of man bun followers.

This might be Troy's first exposure to the difference between working for Fox and liberal-woke ESPN. I wouldn't be shocked if some libitard gets in the ear of a higher-up at ESPN and they make Troy say something. I hope not...but it wouldn't surprise me.

I'll be surprised if this happens. Aikman is cocky enough to not give a shite.

Y’all are blaming the wrong people.

Blame the SI editor and Daniela Perez for writing such a shite article insinuating that this mindset is the majority and give maybe 12 people the spotlight on a platform as big as SI. It’s garbage and it causes normal people like you and I to get upset and click the article.

Stop sharing shite like this. You, the OP, fell for it and they got the clicks they want.

Stop giving these faux outrage people the platform they desire. Until all of you stop being mad about them, the more we see this and it’ll never stop.

If you didn’t link this article, we would have never known that these self righteous pussies ever existed or is mad about such trivial nonsense.

Aikman should gave Saud it is time the NFL removes the Panties of the QB positions in the NFL. We are well beyond the Dress stage with the bullshite Roughing The Passer penalties.

Brees and Brady would not have been lucky to have lasted five years in NFL that Aikman played in.

Once again, there are over 300 million accounts on twitter.

Who fricking cares if a couple hundred people out of 300 million accounts farted out an opinion on Aikman's dress comment?

It's insane that y'all fall for articles that push this shite over and over. It's like you want to be pissed off all the time.

Troy Aikman who had multiple concussions from injuries on the field can say whatever he chooses. Whenever. And to whomsoever.

Wrong. Wearing a dress represents being soft and feminine, characteristics reflective of high value women who attract and are attracted to high value masculine men.

Aikman wasn’t making a derogatory comment towards women. It had nothing to do with women. It’s about the men on the field diminishing the masculine characteristics of football.

Troy Aikman really needs to find a non-misogynistic way to critique the call besides “take the dresses off”.

And I say this as someone who heard this misogyny normalized by coaches as a kid & even participated myself. Way past time to end such sports talk.

Could you imagine being friends with someone like Chuck Modi?
