Every other QB with 2 Lombardi's is in the Hall except for Jim Plunkett.

frick no
he'll need quite a few more years of putting up elite numbers

Yes if he wins 2............but New England and San Francisco will win next week.

I would think. He's only 30, so he still has another 5 years or so of playing at a high level. His stats are better than a guy like Aikman(who has 3 rings). Another 5 years of production, it would be hard to keep him out, if he does in fact have 2 Super Bowls.

He'll get in without a doubt.

is Roethlisberger in if he retired today?
the more Super Bowls you win, the less stats you need... Eli is borderline with another one, but he's never been considered among the best QBs in the game

Eli with a SB victory this year before Roethlisberger because of his last name, a good off the field image, and comparative value to his franchise. Both are borderline but probable.

Uh. This is his 2nd season posting a passer rating above 90. He's never been regarded as among the elite at his position, and he's only recently broken into that tier just below. This is his 8th season, and this is the first year he's broken the Top 10 in rating. First.
To consider him worthy of the annals of the Hall of Fame, worthy of joining the pantheon of all-time greats and legends at this point, even with another SB, is laughable. I mean the SB MVP is a big deal, but beyond that his biggest accolades are 2 Pro Bowls and the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award in November 2008.
As time passes the backlog of players who deserve to be in but aren't continue to grow. I doubt he'll ever be in and his performance to date is lacking in both quality and longevity. I honestly don't see how he deserves to even be considered at this point.

Hell no he isn't. If you were never a top 5 player at your position you don't belong in the HOF. Eli at no point is career has ever been a top 5 QB.

Seriously?
This year
Brees
Brady
Rogers
E. Manning
Stafford
On top of that I think he gets in because of his clutch performances. Taking out the undefeated patriots in the Super Bowl for one.

Hes only been to 2 pro bowls. So as good as 2 super bowl rings sounds, he still needs a few more good years.

the media's fascination with the Mannings will get him in

He's in with a super bowl win, especially if both his super bowl wins are against tom brady.
