So how good did Peacock do last night?

Or how bad? Interested to see the numbers

Gonna be a bit before we get some news, especially if the numbers were bad

Personally, getting to save money, not see Taylor swift and avoid putting any money in the NFLs pocket is a win/win/win for me.
But to answer your question, I looked earlier out of curiosity and couldn’t find anything yet.

I don't know how often they release subscriber numbers but downloads and people googling Peacock were at all time highs.

Crack Streams probably did well.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial, watched the game, and canceled it.

I feel like I’m the only person in America who had Peacocktv before yesterday. It’s how I watch The Office.

Streaming numbers are always going to be suspect because most of that data is controlled by the streaming services.
The best barometer of success for Peacock is this data. How many people downloaded Peacock?

I’ve had it for at least a year…

Sports TV Ratings
@SportsTVRatings
Update: am told national Nielsen numbers for Dolphins/Chiefs won't be out until Friday per Nielsen's schedule.
no conspiracy, just holiday delay + processing wiggle room since it's only the 2nd time Nielsen has done a live Peacock exclusive

The bar for respectability will be considerably higher for Saturday’s game. Last year’s least-watched playoff game, Chargers-Jaguars in the same Saturday night Wild Card window, averaged 20.61 million viewers on NBC. No playoff game has failed to crack the 20 million mark in 17 years, since a Chiefs-Colts Wild Card game averaged 19.70 million on NBC. Since the current NFL playoff scheduling format began in the 2002-03 season, the least-watched playoff game overall was Jets 41, Colts 0 on Wild Card weekend in 2003 with 19.66 million.

Ratings prediction No NFL playoff game has averaged fewer than 20 million viewers since 2007 and no game has fallen below the 19 million mark since the current playoff scheduling format began in the 2002-03 season.
AFC Wild Card: Dolphins-Chiefs (8:15p Sat Peacock). Prediction: 17.42M viewers (including over-the-air simulcasts in Miami and Kansas City).

I'm sure a lot of people did the same thing. They paid $110 million for that game in part as a marketing campaign. So even if some people downloaded the app and will only watch the free stuff, that's still a win for them.

I've had Peacock for years. Didn't watch the game.

Not really. Plenty of people download these apps only to realize that it asks for a card number for the free trial and then say "screw it".
I was looking into it a few months ago, it even let me create an account and everything then was like for free trial please sign up for x amount per month with your card. I wasn't that interested in signing up only to cancel and said forget it.
It's the trick with these free downloads for the app, but they are useless until you register.
It's not like NBC app where you get a free preview of like 30 minutes.

Same. It’s actually one of the better streaming services.

Very good in my home thanks for asking.

Never seen a network literally beg it's audience to watch a game during the pregame show or opening series
