So can it be said that Andy Dalton was the best QB of the 2011 class?

Never saw a QB prospect get shite on so hard by ESPN, Kiper and McShay as Dalton did before the 2011 draft.

They said he had no arm, little potential, and was inferior to the likes of Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker and Chris Ponder because he didn't play against as good of competition in college.

But as we see Cam Newton having a sophomore slump, Gabbert being a disaster, Locker being inconsistent health wise and Ponder flat out sucking and showing no improvement, I think its safe to say that Andy Dalton was the best QB that year and once again McShay/Kiper were dead wrong. Surprised ESPN still employs those clowns and people take their word as gospel.

having AJ Green to throw to definitely helps, but I have been impressed with Dalton

I love the fact that Palmer is getting knocked around right now.

I do believe Cam Newton is still 3rd in the NFL in yards per attempt.

Your sarcasm is noted. If you watch the games, you would see that the problem is Ron Rivera, not Cam Newton.

And Locker has the highest passer rating out of all of them. He just has a lot fewer attempts.

Dalton does have AJ Green but he has no offensive line or running back to make defenses respect the run.

Chris Ponder has Adrian Peterson yet still looks like dogshit.

Dalton has been HUGE for the Bengals. Him and AJ Green grow together every game. I watch every Bengals game because I have both on my fantasy team and they are impressive as hell week in and week out.

He was my top QB from that class going into the Draft .

I thought it was laughable they had guys like Ponder and Locker ahead of him.

Also, like someone said, Kaepernick could absolutely be in this discussion eventually.

I always saw Kaepernick as a more athletic and smarter Jamarcus Russell. I think he will do well when he gets a shot, which might be now

It's funny because the Vikings, Titans and Jaguars went down with the ESPN ship and drafted the guys they did.

You think that NFL scouts would be smart enough to sift through the bullshite the ESPN guys peddle, but I guess not that time. They fell hook line and sinker for it.

Funny because Kaapernick is a main reason TCU and Dalton go to the Rose Bowl in 2010

If Kaepernick didn't have the game of his life against Boise State TCU could have missed the BCS altogether that year.
