Though I'm not, you'd be surprised to know how many non-black people are into sneakers

I'll never understand paying upwards of 100 dollars for basketball shoes I'll never hoop in.

I'm white, have a doctorate, and I loved my Jordans in high school and college. Seriously thinking of picking up a pair of these

I never owned a pair of Jordans. I could make this my first pair. Are these shoes even comfortable?

Don't think your education level is relevant but I'm surprised there are so many white people interested in jordans. I'm being serious and am legitimately interested/wouldn't have guessed

A lot of them are just classic designs that work well with many different occasions. Sure, some of them look more "urban" than others, but they have mass appeal.

That and sneakers in general have really grown in popularity over the last 5 or 6 years.

A lot of the J's you see people camping for and going nuts about could be found in outlets for 25% off 10-12 years ago.

Looks like a normal pair of basketball shoes. What's the big deal?
