Love that they freeze the video right at the jersey tug to make it look worse. He didn’t impede him much, and he wasn’t walking in. Mahomes was under duress and lobbed a bad ball 5-7yards past the target. If you think he was impeded near that, you’re out of your mind, but you already proved that with your relentless claim that “he had him on the ground.”

Did he tug his jersey? Yes, was it worthy of the call in that situation? Nah.

I hope you're not one of those people who complained about the refs not calling holding at the end of that Ravens/49ers SB.

Ok everyone. Show me all the plays where a db tugs and holds the WRs jersey at the break right in front of the ref and it wasn’t called Apparently it happened 100 times in the game so it should be easy for y’all to post them all

I’ve asked many times. No one wants to respond to it.

And even if it did happen, you just CANT enforce a penalty in the last two minutes of a close game bro. You just can’t do it bro.

Eagles also committed hands to the face on that play too in that pic I just posted.

True, the refs should just kick back on the sidelines and not enforce any rules because it's close to the end of the game.

Well, a new video from NFL Films shows a great angle of Bradberry's hold on JuJu and it was legit. Wonder what the "tHe nFl iS rIgGeD" crowd on here will pivot to next now that the legitimacy of the call has been vindicated. Bradberry grabbed Juju twice. Once in the back clearly restricted and turned him, the second one in the front wasn't as bad but the damage had been done.

Told my brother while we were watching the replay the hold that totally jacked up the route was the first hold when Ju Ju was making his move to go to the outside. It wouldn’t matter to most of the people on this forum if Bradberry bear hugged Ju Ju they wanted the game to continue so the Eagles could have one more shot to beat the Chiefs……remember, this is a Joe Cool safe space and the Chiefs kept Burrow out of the Super Bowl.

From that angle, people would have been melting if they didn’t call it “They didn’t call a huge jersey rip to keep the game alive!!!!!” That’s what never made sense about all this. Why would the nfl rig the last call to make a less dramatic finish?

If the NFL wanted to rig the game they could have legitimately allowed Bolton’s 2nd scoop and score or overturned the Eagles TE helmet catch ……that catch was more iffy than the catch that was overturned earlier in the game.

It’s a micromanaged call. It’s a “fair” call, but it definitely wasn’t a necessary call. Fans wanted more out of the game, an overtime game. It’s also just suspicious that the Chiefs won both the AFC championship and the Super Bowl on these late calls. They are fair calls, it’s just suspicious.

Good for them for getting the call right. I'm one of those "the NFL is rigged" folks and agreed with the call when it happened. This won't magically change my mind about the NFL, as a whole.

I got a laugh out of it because it ended the game for PHI. After watching PHI being gifted THREE TD's in the NFCCG due to officiating, I thought that was a fitting ending for them.

I think the issue is the timing of the call, and the effect it has on the game.

Let's go back and analyze that drive, and see if there were any offensive penalties, maybe? Linemen holding, and so forth? And I don't know if there were; but they weren't called, so on to the next play we went. But, I strongly suspect we could have found some. That's the other issue- they tend to "let them play" to aid watchability, but then you can shape a drive simply by choosing when and if to throw a flag.

Yes, that's it. It is because the Chiefs needed help to finally beat Burrow, not at all the fact that this is a message board full of Saints fans. You know, fans that dealt with one of the most blatantly fixed games in recent memory.

PS - I'm not a Saints fan, and especially a Drew Brees fan. Both can get fricked.

See - that's not how I saw it...and I don't have a dog in the fight, I thought the first hold definitely had and affect on the play.

Far from it. Mahomes has literally won me thousands of dollars the past several years in fantasy football. I stated in another thread that if Mahommes and the Chiefs end up being the next Brady/Pats, I really don't care. Good guys on a fun team to watch.

Pointing out that they needed help to beat the Bengals is an accurate observation. I've never seen a group of more insecure NFL fans than Chiefs fans this year after their win.

Nothing insecure about calling someone out on a ridiculous stance. That call was legit and trying to make it out that the Chiefs needed help is yes, indeed, butthurt worthy.

It was the right call to make. A clear penalty.

That being said, it did make for an anti-climactic ending to an otherwise really great game.
