That might have been the worst roughing the passer I’ve seen
Didn't think it could get worse, but yeah not sure that one can be topped

The NFL has officially jumped the shark
I've seen a lot of bullshite calls, but honestly that one pushed me closer to this point than any others I've seen. They are ruining the god damn game with this bullshite. They need to make these calls reviewable or something, it is absolutely ridiculous

Horrendous penalty.
Does the NFL ever comment on any of these bogus roughing the passer penalties after the fact?

The body weight rule is fricking asinine in the first place, and that was a terrible invocation of said rule.

The nfl doesn’t care abkut bad calls. People forget
They don’t want qbs to get injured. They are happy with that call

That was me. What does a db hitting someone legally have to do with a lineman falling on a qb? That really ruffled your feather huh? I mean I saw a db completely level a wr with his shoulder today and nothing happened. The two aren’t even remotely comparable

I'm bias but still think the roughing the passer call on Chris Jones sacking Carr was worse because he took the ball as well. You gotta gently set them down on a pillow.

Get rid of all these player safety rules! The biggest attraction of the NFL that separates it from other sports is the violence. Quit legislating it out of the game. Let’s be honest, if Justin Herbert got obliterated and never played another down the popularity of the league wouldn’t be affected one bit.

I’m joking. People like Mina Kimes and Steven Ruiz fricking worship Herbert.

Mina - “Terrible roughing (what's new). Used his arms to avoid placing his body weight on him.“
Ruiz - “ Awful roughing call man.”
But sure…

The chargers can't even hear the snap in their own stadium while playing a team from across the entire country

I was joking you weirdo, playing off what da egg said.
Congrats to those two jokers for removing their mouths from Herbert’s cock long enough to speak the truth
