Newspapers today had the yardage number big and bold. Guess what, the record changes with next completion for positive yardage. Just solidifies the dumbass media.

There is precedent for this. Redskins kicker Mark Moseley from the 80's set the NFL record for consecutive FG made, and ended up beating the previous record by 7. He had a clause in his contract where he got a $5000 bonus for breaking that record. Moseley's take:
