Should the Bulls tank?

With DROSE's knee injury...he very well could be out for the year. Why fight for an 8th seed and get killed in the 1st round?
If OKC has taught us anything....you build through the draft. I still contend that LeBron being so good early on ultimately hurt the Cavs. (Its not LeBron's fault...more so the organization). Because they werent able to get any high draft picks cause they were either late lottery or late 1st round in the draft.
Look at the Thunder. If the Cavs got the same picks after LeBron...They would have got Ben Gordon (not great..but better than nothing..and was good early on..or maybe got Andre Igudala)....and either Chris Paul or Deron Williams. #3 pick in the draft.
I dont want DROSE to be the only star in Chicago. Why not tank....get a top 5 pick. Maybe get Muhammad from UCLA, Mcadoo from UNC or Noel from UK or whoever the hell is one of the top players.
The best example is the Spurs years ago. Robinson was out for the season...had one of the worst records......Got Tim Duncan. (Celtics fans are still pissed about that)
So the Bulls should tank imo. Get another young star to play with Rose.

Considering they had the best record in the East with D Rose out most of the year I'd be surprised if they finish any worse than 6th in the East.

I just find it hard to believe pro teams purposely lose games. Especially when there is a lottery involved in deciding draft order.

Steven A. Nash will look good in black and red.

I think it is hilarious how OKC is praised as an organization for the building of their team. They basically sucked and lucked out with solid players being at their high picks.
They got lucky getting the second pick and getting Durant. I really don't believe anyone would have passed on Oden.
It would have been hard to screw up the Westbrook and Harden picks as they had some really good talent at those picks regardless if they went a different direction.
Players like Evans, Love, Curry, Rubio, and Gordan were all early picks on the board those drafts.

For every team that has success, theres 5 idiots that say they got lucky.

That Bulls team minus Rose is still an above .500 team in the East, since they're built on defense and rebounding.
How are you going to tell a group of athletes to tank an entire season, knowing that could cost them millions in future contracts?
It's just not possible.

Yea, it's funny hearing all the "They did it the RIGHT way" comments.
They had 3 top 5 picks in 3 consecutive years, I believe.
How are other teams supposed to do it the right way when they don't have those same top picks?
It's all laughable.
Whatever it takes to build a winner, THAT is the right way.

I hope they tank and get screwed over like the Bobcats.

Rose is the great player on that team, but they have too much talent at other positions to tank to get a top 5 pick.
Charlotte, Washington and Cleveland will be at the bottom of the standings again. The Kings and Bucks look bad too. I also have a feeling that Orlando will screw things up with Howard and end up really bad and I think the Blazers are trying to blow up their team and restart as well.
That's at least six teams that would out tank the Bulls.

This thread is so bad the bulls are easily a top 4 team in east w/o rose. Plus they will go after a dragic or Nash.

Lebron also drafted Luke Jackson and overvalued JJ Hickson. blame Lebron!
