Should Cleveland take Barkley at 1 and Chubb at 4?

Was thinking about this... imo Mayfield is the best QB in the draft. I think all the QBs will be moderately successful except for Rosen if he's behind a bad line.

Barkley is obviously going 1 unless something crazy happens in the next 5 weeks, so the question is do you take Chubb or whoever is left between Rosen/Allen/Darnold at 4?

I personally would. Chubb has All-Pro written all over him and I think he is also the best player in the draft. The guy dominates everyone who lines up across from him and pairing him with Garrett is pretty damn scary. Cleveland also has the assets to trade up from 33 with ease.

You sure about that bud? Cause I’m about 99.5% sure they’re taking a QB

Cleveland doesn't need an all pro qb.
They need a manager to not suck.
Build around the line and back.

They should take Darnold first and then Mayfield second.

One of those 2 (if not both) should be a decent starting NFL QB eventually.

Darnold and Chubb.

Or Quenton Nelson at 4. Is it possible he’ll be there?

Either way they get a good QB and start building their lines up.

Why would Cleveland take two running backs? They just got Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson isn't awful. They don't really need two more backs. They could use an elite one, but the second top five pick would be much better used to fill another need.

The Chubb that plays defense, not the one who plays offense

I just can’t see someone taking a RB at 1 given the value of the position. And this browns regime has made an emphasis on draft value

They have too many holes to take a RB at 1. That's a luxury pick for a team who isn't good enough to take a luxury pick. This isn't fantasy football.

QB at 1, Chubb at 4 if he's there. You can never have too much pass rush. They've kicked the can on QB too many times. They're in prime position right now. Don't get cute.

had they not went and got hyde i could have seen it. But now, na its not happening.

In the top of the draft i only would take 3 positions. Qb, OT, De. The shelf life of those skill position players is short lived. And the best way to improve team for the long haul is on the lines.."and franchise qb, if you find it there"

Even with just the topic, you should know it was referring to the DE Chubb. RB Chubb won't be going in the first round.

It's a QB driven league.

You cannot give them both starter reps.

Take a QB 1 and if the giants don't take one or trade out then they should be able to trade 4 to someone like the Bills for a ton.

A RB at 1 is horrible.
