Seems like a really private dude
They've shown him a bunch on tv and seemingly every time, he's sitting in a fairly modest house for his money, just with his dog and no one else.

Probably not.
Prenuptial agreements are not common in Japan. They have never been a part of Japanese culture, even for the upper classes.

Because they don’t need them. Their property division laws in divorces are much different in Japan. Property acquired in your own name during the marriage is viewed as separate property.
