The deal will now be done on the 6 by all accounts. Lakers will have 23 mill to spend.

That RDAmbition guy mentioned ATL as the potential 3rd team awhile back. Looks like everything is playing out so far.

Los Angeles was operating that July 6 was the target date for the Davis deal but had a 10-day window to move contracts to a third team and expand the trade. The Pelicans would need to cooperate in order to expand the deal.

Lakers will find a way to get a max spot.

They have 6 days to negotiate prior to needing to make the contract work.

If Kemba, Klay, KD, Kyrie, or Kawhi want to come the Lakers will move more assets to do so.

If it is Jimmy Butler or another second tier free agent then the Lakers May try to get him to accept less.

I am hoping for Kemba or Klay

I really like Kemba.

Played 79+ games four years straight.

Would be the three point shooter needed to keep defenses from packing the lane.

Has constantly been double teamed and still gets 25 a game.

Very good end of the game free throw shooter

Talen Horton-Tucker says he didn’t work out for the Lakers and didn’t even meet with them at the combine before being picked by them tonight. As a fellow Klutch Sports client he says he’s already met with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, however.
