10 years ago, yes. Not so much anymore. He played well today and made the Gabriel decision look strange.

Reckon that might have to do with the fact that no one else has to throw late against the Titans?

Btw, statistically the Titans had a worse Pass defense than the Dolphins coming into today.

When I tuned in that game I thought he had been benched, walking around without his helmet in hand. I was wrong, he just takes his helmet off as soon as he hits the side lines so the cameras can get his face and weaves in good focus. How considerate he is of the camera men and of the producer looking for photos of a guy to fill the spaces between plays.
Close sarcasm.

Ah so no credit if he plays well when he should

So you're saying he is legit (your words) because he played "well" against arguably the worst team in the league? Because that's what people are arguing against.

But roast him if he plays bad when he shouldn’t.

Is there someone at your house that can call 911? I think you're having a stroke

ETA: For the record, I have said in multiple threads that I want him to be successful as it's good for the league. But you can't objectively argue that he is legit just yet.

I think he’s legit because he has looked legit since becoming the starter. Not just today.

The Titans are 2-11, just had the number one pick, and are the least talented team in the league with probably the worst coach as well.

And terrible ownership.

Two of this three starts were against arguably two of the worst teams in the league. His start against the 49ers wasn't exactly world beating either.

He has a sub 60% completion percentage and that's with giving him a mulligan for the Ravens game where he was 4 for 16 (which is horrid even if you weren't the original starter).

I hope he gets better and builds off of today's performance; but, to say he is legit based on his body of work thus far is moronic.

He goes through his progressions like he should and he’s doing well considering his head coach is a retard

If Shadeur could play the Raiders and Titans every week, he might get his number retired again.

Shough's completion percentage is much better for certain.

I wish Sanders would have gone somewhere else besides the Browns.

I'm a firm believer that Tom Brady would be terrible playing for that franchise

Browns are a better built roster than the Saints

There is zero aspect of the qb position I’d give the nod to Sanders over Shough

and I’m a closet fan of the Browns outside of the Saints

Define legit. Is he better than Dillon Gabriel and the best QB on the Browns roster? Yes.

Is he good enough to be considered the Browns franchise quarterback going forward? A much larger sample size is needed for this.

I think he’s a franchise qb for some team in this league. Time will tell!

Too bad he is stuck on the Browns

His stat line is a common one across the league, also only his 3rd game and dont assume it gets better.

It’s so common that the other rookies have yet to replicate in more games
