the big talking point after the game was that most of the lineman he was playing behind were cut so they were trying to sabotage him.
Who is saying that? Not saying that wasn't said, just curious.
It's kind of a dumb argument in general. They were playing, so they weren't cut yet, and no guy trying to earn a roster spot in the freaking NFL is going to try and sabotage a 4th string QB that they probably have no problem with. It's literally in their best interest if they protect him and he plays well. But the entire line is just throwing their career away to... send a message?

more faux outrage ESPN is getting famous for
It's a cancer. just look at all the WNBA threads on this site.
America craves faux outrage

Personally, I've been long tired of hearing about ANY of the Sanders for a couple years now.
As a family, they come off as a group of people with inflated senses of self-worth with massive egos to back it up---------and slightly better than middle of the road success.

Shiloh is not a good football player. The only reason he gets any attention was because he played for his dad. He never got attention when he was bad at South Carolina. I wonder if people realize he had 1 career interception in 4 years playing FBS football. 1 INT, 6 PBUs, and 4 TFL in 34 games.
And here's what he did in 83 preseason snaps:
39.1 PFF grade
38% missed tackle rate
100.0 passer rating allowed
0 PBUs
0 INTs
1 QB hit
4 tackles
2 penalties, 1 ejection
Shedeur was a pretty good college QB but no one would be or would have been talking about him at all if he had a different father. Not in college or the NFL.
But they're all assholes, Deion and his sons. Deion gets away with it because he was an a-hole that was also the most elite DB of his generation and maybe ever. His sons are not but talk like they are.

Dude was trying to fight the opposing team's ball boy on the sidelines during a game....because the ball boy was trying to get his team's ball back. And he's not even a coach or a team staffer. He's just a videographer with a ton of access because of his dad.
Let a social media videographer at any other program instigate an altercation on the sideline like that during a game and see how quickly they go from watching on the sideline to watching from home.

Poor Cleveland. Gives the guy a chance and now it is weaponized against them.

If we want it to stop, let's stop making threads about it everyday.
So ESPN bases it's horse choking Shedeur coverage based on threads made on Tiger Droppings?

Wrong.
He was possibly the most elite cover corner of his generation.
Deion was shite as a tackler. He could have never played safety.
Many many corners were better complete football players over Deion.

Business decisions, baw
Posted on 8/25/25 at 2:20 pm to FightinTigersDammit
being a pathetic tackler is a business decision?
Posted on 8/25/25 at 2:20 pm to FenrirTheBeard
I'm sure the coaches have a million other things on their minds every day and waking up each morning trying to sabotage a player probably isn't high on their list.
Posted on 8/25/25 at 2:23 pm to Harry Rex Vonner
That's what Deion used to say about turning down tackles.

Browns just trade Pickett to Raiders so get ready for more Sanders
Posted on 8/25/25 at 7:40 pm to FenrirTheBeard
Everyone said this part of the reason not to draft him...he wasn't worth the headache (from the media)...Browns damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I thought after one preseason drive he was the GOAT
