KD isn't from Texas. He didn't even spend a full year in the state of Texas.

Id say durant knows harden a wee bit better than you. So if durant is considering teaming up with harden shouldn't that be a hint hint to you that you may be off in your perception of JH13?

All of the trash talking is to throw off everyone's scent...tFW lock:

Except the idea of him wanting to team up with harden is pure speculation. And no, texting harden every once in a while doesn't count as wanting to play with him again.

It's all speculation at this point. Lotta talk about CC tho.

I've read that Boston wants KD.

Somehow, he goes to the Spurs. I see it coming

If durant wanted to take a backseat in order to get championships, he would go to the Warriors. Not the Spurs.

they'd gut the depth of that team if he went there, thats a big issue.

Why can't he do that with any team?
Only okc can give him the 5 year max. He loses that option buggy going to another team.
Anyone thinking he's not signing a 1+1 this year is dumb.

Whatever, he played at Texas.....y'all know what I meant

The Spurs are the greatest North American sports franchise of the last 20 years. Sure durant would listen if Pop tried to court him. But I don't think it's enough to counter what the Warriors are doing. And don't forget the salary cap is increasing a ton. They could offer him over $20 million and keep everyone.

Ben Simmons?
i dont think a top 3 player in the game is going to a spot to team up with an unproven rookie.
dude has a monster endorsement deal from Nike(and many others), so what is the motive to go to LA?

Durant isn't going to leave a ball dominant guard who lacks true PG instincts to play with another ball dominant guard who lacks true PG instincts.
I could see DC for sure if he leaves. A ton of talent that could use that go to scorer. He'd be the first option again. A perfect PG who could set him up in spots instead of the "take turns" nonsense that has plagued OKC for years now. That to me would be a perfect fit.

Celtics would be in the NBA Finals within 2 years if that happens. Celtics are ascending, and they have the type of team that matches up well against GSW.

Mmmmmm, I mean they'd have to give up Bogut and probably Iggy. Losing Bogut isn't that big of a deal. Iggy is but wouldn't say that's gutting the team.
That's just to say it's possible to do without the team looking like a completely different team. I just don't see the benefit for GSW right now to make that move. I think they hang onto this core as is for another year before they have to shake things up.

i gurantee you KD and westbrook will not be on the same team next year. it's not about the money.
this is what i ultimately think happens
they sign KD to a long term deal
they make some type of trade sending CP3 and Austin Rivers to the thunder for Westbrook, waiters and some picks
Rivers is then cut before the season starts
the team that makes the absoutly MOST sense is honestly the hornets. but no one wants to hear that. a healthy MKG covers up any deffensive inefficiency KD has. Walker is a real PG lol.
oh yeah. and they have 30 million in cap space this year lol
Walker
Batum
Durant
MKG
Zeller / Jefferson
that's a hell of a lineup
