I love how he says it as a point of pride that Pelinka and him kept the trade under wraps. Yes, when you’re about to trade the most valuable player in the league, it makes the most sense to shop him with 1 singular team and give no one else a chance to bid.

lol talking about how Jason Kidd didn’t know but it didn’t matter. He knows what type of players Kidd looks for and blahh blahh. Kidd obviously so happy to get rid of Luka..

Seems like the league putting their finger on the scale, to keep LA relevant. Maybe they can finagle around lebrons no trade clause and get jokic over there too.

Yeah, the trade is bad enough as it is but with the information learned that the Mavs reached out to the Lakers and ONLY talked to them. It just seems suspicious as hell. The Lakers are still going to suck this season but the historic Los Angeles Lakers now have their franchise cornerstone for a soon to be 32 year old injury prone C and fans across the league are just supposed to buy that? Luka better be the fattest, laziest motherfricker in the world.

I feel like this was the Adelsons, combo of them being cheap and not able to deal with the power dynamics of NBA superstars vs owners. Wouldn't be surprised if the team did try to talk to Luka about conditioning and he basically laughed at them and they decided at that point to frick him.

Even if it doesn’t make any sense to not shop him

Weakest part of that Simmons/RR pod was Billy S saying nobody wants to face this Lakers team in the playoffs
the Rockets and Thunder are going to absolutely destroy this LAL team

If I was Kidd I would take the head coach position of the new NBA expansion team......the Greenland Eskimos before I'd stay a second longer in Dallas than I had to.

I saw an online theory that the Adelson family is pulling a Rachel Phelps/Stan Kroenke and actively sabotaging the Mavericks so they can move the team to Vegas. That’s the only way this trade makes sense.
Vegas is already getting their own expansion team.

Luka and LeBron playing together is going to be insufferable. The amount of crying is going to be unwatchable. I hate both those crying bitches.

Now we have Fox to San Antonio and Zach Lavine to the Kings. NBA is going wild right now

My biggest takeaway from this weekend is that people who follow the WNBA refer to the NBA as the MNBA
