NEWS: Sports prediction market company Underdog received a cease-and-desist about its game that makes fun of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drawing fouls.
Gilgeous-Alexander’s legal representation asks that all board games be destroyed and that Underdog not use Gilgeous-Alexander’s name, image or likeness without his permission.

He should just lean into it and be like “yeah I flop to draw fouls. I got a ring and 2 MVPs doing it.” The allegations aren’t going away and the more he lets people know it bothers him, the more they’re going to keep bringing it up.

I was an SGA fan up until these playoffs when I got a great look at exactly how he operates.
It's bush league and for this to be the face of the NBA and 2 time MVP, that's embarrassing.
We thought LeBron flopped like no other, bur SGA has made a true art form of it.

Had you ever heard of Underdog Sports until now? Neither have I so they already got the free marketing. As for the cease and desist, that’s what lawyers get paid to do. Protect brand, patent, blah blah blah. Whatever billion dollar agency he’s with has more lawyers than Underdog so they’ll prol take it down eventually before going to court or settling. It is kinda funny though

Underdog sports is a fairly large company, yes I have heard about them. They’ve been around for years. It’s like a Draftkings alternative.
I doubt they care because they already got all the free promotion they wanted on this and more, but I doubt they care about fighting SGA on this in court (it would never get there anyway)
