That was the laziest tag you could possible make considering that was the winning run. Quinn hadn’t even started his slide yet and Ramos has the ball and still unable to get the tag down

ICYMI: Lance Lynn gave up two hits, both to the first two Rockies of the game, and had a CG, 1R performance at Colorado.

I dig em, but it feels like a quarter of the league has a set now so it doesn’t feel as special when you see them on the field.

That was a hell of a start at Coors Field. I was surprised when they sent him back out there for Story, Blackmon, and Arenado for the fourth time in the ninth. It’s hard to believe how good he has been since joining the Rangers.

I don’t know what happens to Yankees starters. Look at sonny gray lance lynn James Paxton ja happ. They all have/had solid careers and outside of ja happ borderline stars/cy young numbers outside of New York

Relievers on the other hand have the exact opposite trend seemingly

Paxton wasn’t too bad last year. This year he is throwing like 3 mph slower for some reason. Gray definitely was way worse in NY. Yankees are known for a great player development system, but Gray was certainly an outlier.

James Paxton = Kentucky Wildcat. Probably best guy weve got in the majors currently.

Loving me some Sonny Gray, 10Ks last night for my Reds.

We had a guy teat positive for Covid last night, so now my Reds join the Cards and Fish as teams to violate the covid protocols I guess.

Reds/Bucs game cancelled tonight. Not sure who the dumbass is yet.

It’s just really strange. Guys go to be in the bullpen there and are gold ie past prime Zach Britton David Robertson leaves is mediocre comes back gold leaves mediocre

Happ was fantastic when the Yankees traded for him, but last year and so far this year was rough....

Paxton had a stretch of like 12 starts last year where he had a 2 ERA during that time but he was hammered by the long ball all season

I'll be the first to admit I hate Britton but dude had a 2.89 ERA the year before he was traded to the Yankees. So not sure how he was past his prime

He is also a ground ball pitcher and the year he was traded Baltimore had the worst defense in MLB which led to a lot of people on base.

Robertson also wasn't bad with Chicago as his ERA was less than 3.50 and his ERA when he returned was 3.25. he was fantastic in the half season when he came back though.

Best example would be Adam Warren, dude was always solid for the Yankees but struggled anywhere else.
