I hope that you're right. VGK desperately need something to kick them in the pants right now. Thankfully, the 2 current wildcard teams are in the Central but Arizona has been gaining ground of late and are only 6 points out of third, with a game in hand.
VGK play at home against Dallas tomorrow night. Obviously, that game will have lots of interest on this board.
Stone will sign an 8 year deal with a 9.5M AAV, likely on March 1st.

Nashville clearly improved themselves the most. Leafs and Caps made their moves early so won't get credit for it, but both had good deadlines by improving their blueline at marginal cost.
And Vegas got Mark Stone. So they maybe kept pace with the Preds.
