I think the New York Islanders can take down TB in a series, especially if they add a forward before the deadline.

Sounds like Jim Nill has gone against his earlier claim and is looking for someone else now with the deadline today. I don't know what kind of package the Stars can put together now, but we'll see

It's done. NYR Twitter feed reporting it done. 2019 First Rd Draft pick, Forward Brendan Lemieux and a conditional 4th round pick in the 2022 Draft from Winnipeg for Hayes.

We'll see how it works out. We need to win a playoff series very badly obviously.
We can still trade the rights to Panarin and Bob at the draft if we don't reach a long term deal with them before July 1st which would allow a team to sign them to an 8 year deal rather than 7.
