I don’t know why SP and Brady would have beef. Brady didn’t make any disrespectful lateral moves he just worked his way up.

I don't understand why this story has taken on this spiteful/petty twist besides stupidity. Both teams wanted him, Panthers were going to sign him, so Payton traded up so he could get him. How is that anything outside the norm?

That doesn't explain why he would want Stevens. The kid couldn't get any playing time behind McSorley at PSU and he was pretty much a nothing burger at Moo State. He is basically Taysom Hill light.
