Russillo did an interview this morning on the Pels and talked about his time at ESPN and the future . I posted it on the Pels Board.

The Late Show and Tonight Show air at 11:30 PM on the east coast. Only a thirty minute difference.

It is after most games end and it is the prime time for Sportscenter across the country
SVP is being given the keys to the most valuable ESPN original programming in the company catalogue. He cant turn that job down.
I am sure this is also a leverage play for Russillo as well. Russillo's current contract expires in June. If he decides to stay at ESPN and they decide they want him to continue on ESPN radio, he has a much stronger position to negotiate his next contract.

my crackpot theory is that ESPN believed SVP has gotten to big for radio and has been wanting him for more TV. He held out cause he liked the radio show but it was made clear that they were going to low ball Russillo's next contract.

Listening to the podcast today it hits me that they r done soon and ill have to fill those 3 hrs of my day elsewhere. But swipe right today was great plus the odell n gronk segment w outsider was hilarious. Fridays winners will be missed
