How do you know this for a fact?
I know someone who is in the know regarding Lamar. It's his mom making things impossible. He truly needs to get an agent. His mom will break him if he doesn't.

Wonder if this would shut up Richard Sherman and those like him on Twitter who keep saying it is a race issue

I guess that’s what happens when your Mom is your agent. I hate when people pull the race card or say collusion. Two things can be true at once, no team is willing to pay that price and that’s what the market is saying. Sure the browns made that stupid deal with Watson but quite frankly that’s why they are the Browns.

You sound like a complete moron.

You’re acting like he’s choosing not to play football and will show up at your office tomorrow for work.

He’s going to sign somewhere. He’s not turning any money down.

I'd guess most people would sound like morons when you don't have a fricking clue how thenon-exclusive franchise tag works.

Contracts are also still shitty compared to top NBA and MLB deals especially given the length of careers and long term risk.

In 2022 the NBA generated $10 billion in revenue. The NFL generated a little over $17 billion in that same year.

The NBA has far less players to pay than the NFL does, so they can afford to pay their stars their enormous contracts.

MLB made $11 billion and only have rosters of 28.

So what advice is he getting beyond his own? I look around the league and try to imagine another team set up with his skill set who would be happy to pay his price. I honestly don't know what team would be that excited.

The Jets are looking like they found their guy in Rogers and the Raiders were never a decent fit. Who is out there?

Keep in mind this fricking loser quit on his team last year and still demands 200 million.

What a world we live in

Stupid.

We’ve seen Jackson’s exact career arc play out recently with Cam Newton. Jackson is going to frick around and end up costing himself 9 figures.

One more injury riddled season and he’s going to be dumped by the ravens and no one is even going to look in his direction because of his ridiculous demands.

The injuries are piling up. If Jackson sits out a year to avoid being tagged it’ll turn out to be a massive mistake.

It sounds like Jackson was pushing for $300 mill guaranteed.

He may be dumb...I dont know him and havent looked it up....but at the first several million does it really matter anymore.

I could see myself taking the contract then retiring, I could also see myself sitting to play for the exact team I want to, knowing I could never play again and be financially secure

If this is true then idk what to say. You'd think any mom would see the contract he was offered and the inclusion of the injury pay and be thrilled.
