Lovie Smith is terrible, damn what a joke of a organization.

I feel like this is an exaggeration. He was terrible in college by all accounts. But he was solid overall with the Bears
Not great, but not terrible either.

Any actual Houston Texans fans have permission to enter the transfer portal and adopt a new team.

He's probably a better coach than Culley but he was never getting another NFL HC job outside of an interim promotion. If they hire him, in back to back years they hired a coach that wasn't getting a HC job from another team and had among their finalist another that no one else would give an interview. They're making BOB's dysfunction there look reasonable.

He was terrible when he was head coach of the Buccaneers in ‘14 and ‘15.

The NFL should step in and force ownership to sell.

You think the NFL isn’t in full support of black coaches being hired?

Cal McNair Is doing his part to set black coaches back by putting bad hires in worst possible position to succeed

Does Houston get 2 3rd round picks for hiring their own black coach?

They will cheer and pontificate, he will lose, and they will say “we need more black coaches”, white coaches get recycled too much, and Lovie didn’t count

BOB won more games in his second to last season than Lovie will in his term as coach

Has one singular game ever killed an entire franchise like this one did?

Yeah, I don’t get why they didn’t just give David Culley another year if Lovie Smith (who was on Culley’s staff, anyway) is the best they can do.

If Auburn AD hired Harsin to get rid of Gus, then he should be getting a better HC.
