If he has success at Colorado, I'm starting to think he might be the one to take over for Saban. The love fest of being the first black coach at Alabama would get very tiring quickly. That would be the narrative, rather than the fact he might actually be qualified.

Wow you completely invented a scenario and then got mad about it all in the same post.

Well done

I think coach prime is more like the Florida Country Jive Version of Bobby Bowden than anything else

I don’t like Spurrier either but there is no evidence he is a racist.

I didn't even type the rest of all of that foolishness because it's just that foolishness. You got a lot of upvotes for that crap shoot to, it shows how many people out there think just like you. Crazy. None of what you said true, TCU didn't give away the game, they played an unranked team that took it to them in their house. TCU was ranked 17th, and people are already making excuses for them, they shouldn't been ranked that high, they had no defense, and they didn't come to play and all of this foolishness once again. Not giving coach Prime or his team any credit, that's why the guy carries a chip on his shoulder all the time. He's a Black guy doing a great job in a mostly White dominated proffession, but he's not getting the same type of recognition as a White coach like let's say a Urban Cryer. I'd be pissed too, no he didn't spurn the HBCUs like you also foolishly said. He brought them a lot of attention that helped their conferences out tremendiusly with all of the exposure he gave tham. They made more money in his short time there than at anytime before in their history. Jackson St knew he was gonna be there for a short time, they'd be crazy to think he'd be there longer, but in his time there he also put Jackson St on the map, and now other kids wanna go there and play there that wouldn't consider them before. He only took like a handful of players from Jackson ST, star players like his Qb son and the 5 star kid(Hunter) who was gonna leave regardless. All of the rest of the CU players were mostly transfers. But the HBCU schools are doing much better than they ever have because of coach Prime.

Is that Jon Cryer’s brother? Also, you’re full of shite. For a guy who has won a total of one game in a major conference, he is being fawned over by the entire media. Stop with the “poor Deion” crap. He’s getting plenty of recognition, and deservedly so. He and his staff and players did a great job yesterday.

So now “he deserves the recognition” and “he and his staff and players did a great job” are hate. What planet are we on…asswipe?

Predominantly White Institutions ( especially the South) completely spurned Black players/ coaches like Prime. They should never forget. "We don't want Blacks here" , but now people like Kanell foolishly thinking that " we( FSU) made you Prime". Or that players like Hunter or Shedeur need them to succeed. Prime is free to go where he pleases & no one here called him a hero or savior.

Last I checked major college teams and coaching ranks are full of black players and coaches. I don’t see the point.

HBCU’s are great. I have no problem with them. I like Deion as a player and a coach. I hope he does well and he will end up in the NFL shortly and will not look back.

But Deion is about himself. Always has been and always will be. Deion will use whatever and whoever he has to use to promote himself. I just think the world has to see Deion for what he is doing. I hope he wins a NC in a couple years. I think he brings entertainment to football in a WWE type way. He will then go to the pros or a Blue Blood college.

How does one coach trigger so many people on this board one game into the season?

You don’t remember him saying to the mostly black sec conference as far as players are concerned that they were scared of the white man who would come rule the 90s? And that everyone was scared? How could you forget?
