how can you love one and not the other? both are loud mouth, attention seeking, narcissistic egomaniacs.
but both love football and both love teaching/coaching young men.
for me, i like em both and admit they are blow yards but they are good for the sport and spice things up. imagine if all coaches talked like Saban. blah.

Head ball coach didn't talk about race all the time.

Good job by CU and Deion.

TCU gave it away but CU had to play well enough to take advantage.

Deion spurned the HBCU’s. Quit the job and stole their players. Never forget.

All that being said, I like Deion and hope CU has success. But Deion cares about nothing but money and business just like the rest and will use race, HBCU’s and whatever it takes to get ahead.

Deion is just like everyone else. Out for Deion. He is not a hero or savior. He will peddle race to recruit.

Deion is not just like everybody else. He is motivated by his love for his players and he is an excellent figure for others because of the love he expresses. You can see the confidence he instills in his players. Deion is needed and we're lucky to have him. If you can't get past his antics you'll never see what's really going on and it seems many are blinded about him, it's pretty bizarre.

He’s (Deion) an immature brat and an attention whore. frick him. Can’t wait until Oregon beats his arse by 30.

What’s impressive is apparently CU has some really good coordinators and assistants. And Prime has an excellent eye for talent and getting “his guys.”

That team was ready yesterday…. and hung half a hundred on the National champ runner up, in their house, in baking heat. Against a coach with a long pedigree and everyone’s darling lately.

It’s certainly different than we’re used to at Texas with coaches in their first game.

Yeah, I don't get this thread at all. Particularly when Colorado has only played one game against an opponent who derped away scoring opportunities.

Just stated the obvious others would not say and stated his mind no matter how it landed for anyone else.

prime didn't, the media hammered him about being a black HC and having 75% black players and he had no chance of competing in the power 5 realm. He put it back in their faces!

Ftr, im white and totally agree with Prime! frick those media fricks

If he has success at Colorado, I'm starting to think he might be the one to take over for Saban. The love fest of being the first black coach at Alabama would get very tiring quickly. That would be the narrative, rather than the fact he might actually be qualified.
