Saints wasted draft pick on QB

NFL is a copycat league.... 85% of teams start a 1st rounder at QB. When the Saints have a top 10 pick next year and a chance to draft a franchise guy that will draft him making this a wasted pick. Just like Rattler. Wasted pick.

Think the saints need more than that. The 4 big qbs that are left are better. Sanders would’ve been better.

Louis Redick was sucking him off pretty good on the Dan Patrick Show this morning. Said to remember the name. Nobody knows him yet, but he could wind up being the best QB in this class.

And he isn't the only one. Several people have talked about him as potentially being one of the best if not the best QB that will come from this draft.

You have to keep drafting QBs until you get an elite one. We can go all in on a top 5 pick 1st or 2nd QB off the board next year and it not work.
The NFL is a QB league. If you don’t have someone elite to build a franchise around you aren’t going to win shite.

I don’t know much about this QB other than what I can see from his stats, but you lost me with this one
It was a 5th round roll of the dice. At this point, you are just looking for someone that can hang around and be good enough to take a roster spot for a few years. He makes a 2nd contract and you can feel good about the pick

Well they needed a QB badly. The problem is that they consistently reach for players: day 2 = 3 reaches.
That's a level of arrogance that they can evaluate significantly better than the consensus. History suggests that they can't.
