Dallas' dilemma is that they can't win without Dirk's offense (at least not consistently), but he's a sieve on defense. SA attacks him relentlessly, and it was showing on Dirk a bit down the stretch, even though the big guy kept battling (stud
). Mavs' role players have to keep stepping up for them to have a chance. Vince Carter's best output as a Mav was wasted. Marion disappeared as an offensive threat. I think they play better than that in Dallas, but SA looks like they've figured out how they want to attack the Mavs' defensive looks at this point.
Going to be a VERY interesting game 6. I sincerely hope SA matches the intensity/desperation the Mavs are sure to have.

I saw that, too. Timmy continues to get it done. He schooled Wright early in the game, and his layup late was wonderful

Flat out ridiculous that no one new can register. I would have thought that they'd do the responsible thing and hand over those duties to someone else before chunking deuces, because obviously a lot of people care to continue posting on the site, but I guess they just don't give a shite. Weird--it's the biggest collection of Spurs fans on the web (although PtR may be near them in size now--that site has exploded the past few years).

Sorry, PoundingtheRock.com. Spurs' SBNation site. Much more professional than SpursTalk, and better quality of writing/content. I used to write for the site every now and then back in the day, but I'm not in the same league as most of those folks
Highly recommend for Spurs news/happenings. They're usually on top of their shite over there.
