I know, but I just thought the flop was the worst option he could have gone with. I know I wasn't there, and hindsight is 20/20, but I don't think his caddy thought it was the right play either. The most amazing thing about today is that we could have won if Spieth and Mahan didn't blow their matches.

I remember Stenson being in great shape, and then 20 minutes later, and about 3 yards farther away, Mahan can't even figure out what type of shot to play. I knew it was bad when I saw Mahan confusedly talking with his caddie.

We definitely didn't get the breaks today. Euros played well too. It was just too much to overcome the 7-1 deficit in alternate shot.

I agree, I didn't like his leadership at all. Now I'm glad is approach to 18 bounced through the green at the 2009 British Open.

Yeah, that was not the caddie-player conversation you wanted to hear on the 18th green there. Neither of them seemed to be able to commit to a shot, and caddie was just yielding to the players opinion.
