This is twice I've commented on this, but Keegan and Phil sitting both matches today surprises me. Furyk plays three of the four matches, and so does Kuchar. That doesn't make sense to me. Furyk's got an abysmal Ryder Cup record, and I don't know Kuchar's record, but I doubt it's good, and he's coming off an injury anyway.

I'm coming around on Reed. He's been clutch. Good for him.

Aren't they like 4-1 together in RC? Another head scratcher from Tom. Keegan is our version of Poulter. Needs to be out there . Ugh.. Just don't get it.

Alternate shot is where Euro's depth advantage really comes into play. Just hoping to keep it even and go into singles down 1.

I would think furyk/kuchar would be a good alternate shot team.

Patrick reed is the perfect ryder cup player. Aggressive and a huge a-hole. Perfect. And he is a typical fat american so you know that pisses the skinny euros off

Agree, it looks like a good pairing. Particulaly since they're going up against a pair of Euro stiffs.

Interesting to see no Poulter in the Euro lineup. Think Casey will be asked about it?

Once again, we hit a tee ball a few feet off the fairway and it buries, the Euros hit one 20 yards off the fairway and it looks like someone put it on a tee.

not because they're rookies, but Reed and Spieth seem to have great chemistry. Spieth is a little more subtle, but they both act like they have BBCs on the course
