I don't know how the points would work out, but it seems like most of the automatic spots would be solidified by that point in the season.

I wouldn't quite count that Point yet from Fowler and Walker. They still have to finish.

Exactly. Need guys who go out there and tell them "'Yay, we are Europe!' Good for you, a whole continent taking pride in beating one superior country."
We need players with self-confidence and contempt for this Continent-vs-America shite. They have more pride in a continent and a golf tour than our guys have in the USA? Yak.

Some dramatic people up in here. 
We are down 1 after the 1st day. Not a bad position at all. Especially considering no one wanted to give us a chance.
Europeans played some good golf this afternoon. That's all it comes down to sometimes.

No one does, but that's out of Watson's hands. All he does is pair up his players and put them in the order he wants.
