Mahomes in the Super Bowl had, literally, the most insane passes i may have ever seen

So what? Meadowlark Lemon could stand at halfcourt and drill hook shots in the basket all day. Very entertaining. When Mahomes had to have it, he couldn't. That's why they gave Brady the MVP trophy.

How could anyone put Montana or Rogers over Manning?

I guess it depends on what the criteria is. Career accolades, longevity or peak excellence?

Because at their peak, Rodgers is arguably better than manning; he can make throws and do things in the pocket that Manning couldn’t.

Montana was widely considered the goat before Brady took the crown.

I actually have zero problem with this list.

I also love acting like this, after what 3/4 years?, was the first time he played a legit defense.

So what?

i thought we were evaluating his performance. having some all-time throws is part of his performance, right?

Mahommes isn't at fault that his receiver let that GOAT-level pass hit him in the facemask, eliminating the TD

Mahommes isn't at fault b/c his OL was injured and terrible

the Super Bowl was a great example of no matter how great one player is, football is a team sport and wins are a team stat

Brady lost two Super Bowls to the Giants because of their elite D

Fake news. The Patriots had the better scoring defense in both seasons they lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl. In fact, I’m pretty sure the 2011 Giants had the worst scoring defense to win a Super Bowl in the last 30ish years - they were 25th that season giving up 25 ppg.

I mean for Mahommes it’s a bit early but it’s not that crazy
He has zero consistency in how he is doing his rankings. ZERO

Mahommes should either be 1 or not ranked. There isnt a logical pattern at all

Mahomes isn't at fault when things go south in a hurry and KC crashes and burns in the biggest game in pro football? He is though the best QB ever when his little speed demons work the system, get plenty of open space and Mahome gets to throw passes like he's out to practice early. What hypocrites. All he's shown me is that he is a system guy that makes it happen when Reid can out scheme the opponent. If Mahomes wants to be the greatest, which he's nowhere close, he had better make it happen when it's the hardest. Cause scoring zero points in the last Superbowl really wasn't that impressive.

He couldn't have all crackers in his top five.

I actually expected him to have, in no particular order: Doug Williams, Randall Cunningham, Warren Moon, Steve McNair, and Daunte Culpepper. I shite you not I expected this.

Fair re the season ranking. The ‘11 Giants were 9-7 and won a crappy division. Their D turned it on in the playoffs.

The 07 Giants held the GOAT Patriots offense to 14 points in the SB.

Did Brady choke or did he run into defenses playing at elite levels regardless of regular season rankings?

no. unless that was because of something he did, which the Super Bowl was not

oh wow. you really do think he's a system QB

he's been in the NFL 4 years. he redshirted year one

in year 2, his team was an offside (ie, the other side of the ball so there is no way you can blame him) away from the super bowl

in year 3, his team won a super bowl

in year 4, his team lost in the super bowl

you may want to re-think your argument

dude's led his team to super bowls in 2 our of 3 years he's started, and was in the AFC title game the 3rd year

are you still arguing that he hasn't gotten it done when it counts? who else has that kind of a start to their careers?

Your team and QB will get boat raced if you cant protect them at all, regardless of who is behind center

youre not providing any material to counter anything sfp is telling you though. how the hell does that super bowl, where he had 0 offensive line protection and he made some of his most insane throws ever, prove he's a system quarterback? you have to use more than just one game to prove that argument.

Do you get the NFL? You want to be on the greatest list, you better show up and perform the last game of the season. It's the biggest game of a pro player's life. You know, the one they remember in their sleep every day from here on out. Save your regular season mumbo-jumbo for the Saints. It only works there.
