Did you watch the game?

The OL lost the game. Mahomes made big time throws that recovers dropped that killed multiple drives.

If you think Mahomes is why they lost the super bowl idk what to tell you.

It’s always after a game where a QB gets mauled that guys are like “the finally figured him out”

Like getting pressure on the QB is some great secret.

You’re backtracking now. That was not at all your original argument because you realized how flawed it was. Your reasoning for Mahomes was solely because he didn’t “show up” and thus that equals system QB.

There is nothing “system l” about what makes Mahomes elite. He’s a smart QB but the arm and the ability to extend plays when protection breaks down is what sets him apart.

You can’t scheme that.

Staubach has to be top 5, Captain Comeback, deadly accurate, made the Cowboys “America’s Team” for better or worse, led the Cowboys to multiple Super Bowls, there was nothing he couldn’t do and do well on a football field. Can’t imagine how much more dominant he would’ve been had he played for someone like Don Coryell or a more pass-first coach, dude doesn’t get the credit he deserves because he played so long ago.

Sure he did. And from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line he was the equal of Brady in stats. But in the money zone/red zone, he couldn't get his team in the endzone. Advantage, Superbowl MVP.

That should make rebuttal really easy for you.

Tam Brady was pressured on 4/30 drop backs vs 29/59

He ran for 497 yards before his passes/sacks

Tom Brady moved 37 yards on 30 drop backs.

You want to talk about a system QB? No pressure and 6.6 YPP and you still win?

Brady doesn't have to apologize for a physical running game. They literally ate KC's lunch all day. Fournette was a wrecking ball and a big reason why they were able to negotiate those red-zone looks and KC couldn't and went belly up.

Maybe Reid and Mahomes ought to make some adjustments this season, what do you think?

So Brady is GOAT because the offense makes us really easy for him to succeed but Mahomes is a system QB because he actually has to make he’d throws?

Brady has been a system QB for a while now. He attempts maybe 1-2 throws over 15 yards a game, but 80% of his passes are within 5 yards or behind the LOS.

Imagine Being That Wrong

PFF had him with fantastic downfield numbers this year too.

What's "iffy" is someone being in the league for a few years being ordained as a top 5 NFL greatest of all time. That's nonsense.
