Just one: If you're an adult and you're not playing for a living, don't.
I agree, but I'll put an exception in there: if your son plays for a professional sports team, you are permitted to wear his jersey.

So if you wear a team's jersey with no name on the back, that's creepy? I don't think so. Just seems like a way to support your favorite team.
Well, the chances are you will have an assorted choice of numbers, and I would assume you would pick your favorite player.
If the jersey has no names or numbers, tha't just an ugly fashion statement, and I don't see many of these.

Soccer jerseys aren't ugly, and some people pick their favorite number for their jerseys.

Ron, I've got German blood flowing through me. I follow the national team and root for them in every game unless they're playing the USA. I have a Germany training top, I got it because it looks better than any USA shirt I could find.

unless it has my name on the back, i am probably not going to wear a jersey.
but, y'all do what you need to.

thats fine. it would suck if you were half french and were wearing a french jersey, but everyone knows the germans are the supreme aryan race so thats ok
i just get sick and tired of seeing true blooded americans wearing fricking holland jerseys bc"they have a cool style of play"
i understand that all americans came from europe, but frick, if you havent had a foreign relative in your past 3 or 4 generations you dont need to be wearing another countrys colors

Glencross (a risk since he's young and may end up gone, but I really him).
I really liked Glencross when he played for us, but he was expendable. Still, I enjoyed his play/effort.

Phaneuf (because he'll be around for a long time and it will anger opposing fans)
Screw him.

No, they don't. And when I say I have German blood, my dad was born in Germany.

Ok what about this guy I saw at a bar wearing a soccer jersey? Nobody can approve of that, right?

Think about it. a middle-aged doctor/lawyer from Atlanta is probably walking around with a Mike Vick 7 jersey on Sunday still. How stupid is that?
You obviously have never been to Atlanta if you think it has sports fans

As long as the dude is wearing some sort of clothes I don't give a frick
I've also worn a jersey to work, but it was a Sunday and I was the only fricker here

But seriously, it's a bar in Covington where 99% of the guys are wearing Polos or button ups and this dude is wearing an Italian soccer jersey. Did he hope that someone would mistake him for a player?

Like any chick in Covington gives a shite about Italian soccer

I've got 2 jerseys I wear. A Herschel Walker throwback (UGA) jersey, and a Pete Maravich Hawks jersey. The majority of the time, they are worn around the house. NEVER worn to a game, or any other "outside" activity. White people just can't pull off the jersey wearing thing at a game, the mall, etc.

well I'm allowed to wear Italy and Ireland then, but I can't do it

that just sounds stupid, I wear my soccer kits all the time and "pull it off", I wore one yesterday, I don't wear football or any other jersey though, just soccer

I wear basketball jerseys to the gym when I play basketball...sorry if it isn't hip anymore or in good taste in someone elses opinion. Of course I don't wear them to work or church ....just the gym for basketball
