They might lack continuity, but Namibia is a team you can player free and loose against and score a lot of points. Fits Mackenzie’s game perfectly.

This seems like a lot. Am I crazy to think Namibia could cover?

Like - 80-13 is covering...

Not crazy at all. That said, I'm still taking New Zealand to cover. I just think they will be out to prove something (and rack up the points differential) after getting beat by France.

Though I do have one small bet on Namibia because their 1H team total points line was at 0.5 at + money.

Someone must have hammered it because now it's 3.5 on DK.

eta: Still at Namibia 1H over 1.5 points on BetRivers (-122). Just need 1 penalty kick to cash.

Namibia had a chance at points. Go for touch instead. Maul gets spun and sacked. Then lost in the tackle a couple of phases later for New Zealand to go the full 100m on counter for a try after abusing the Namibian scrum.

They convert their second penalty chance from 40 yards out. That Namibia over 0.5 points was a ridiculous line.

LOL Namibia made me sweat out that +70.5 bet.

New Zealand 71 - 3 Namibia.

Worst part is that it was only match today. Need something else after that.

I took the -70.5. Would have won if Smiles Damian McKenzie hadn't missed those 3 conversions. Though the monsoon like conditions may have also had something to do with it.

Yes. Peacock is streaming every match and select matches will air on cable on NBC sports or cnbc.

Trash morning opener tomorrow. I think Romania is the worst team in the draw this year. Doesn't help that their first 2 matches are against Ireland (8-82) and South Africa (64.5 point spread)

But Australia vs Fiji should be a good one, and I think Japan could pull the upset vs England.

Eddie Jones press conferece gonna be spicy after that one.

Great win by Fiji. Shame they didn't have a better goal kicker in the 2nd half. Afraid missing that chance to deny Australia a losing bonus point may come back to haunt them.

Wild match so far for Uruguay and Italy. Italy down 2 players after two quick yellow cards for penalties at their goal line. 1 for hands in and a penalty try/card for collapsing the maul.

Had a play earlier where Italy kicked a grubber into the try zone and an Italian sub got in the way. Touch judge told the head ref that they should look at if Italy would have touched it down if not for the player in the way. Ref basically said, "Are you dumb? I can't reward Italy for one of their own players in the way."

They had multiple scrum collapses in a row and the ref told the front rows to talk to their opposites and figure it out as a group. Now he's letting the knock on advantages play out a while because he doesn't want more scrums.

eta: Don't love Uruguay is choosing to play "ping pong" rugby kicking back and forth rugby up 2 players.

And an ugly drop goal scrapes over the crossbar to end the half. Uruguay UP 17-7 at half.

Everything is live and available streaming on Peacock.

I think some of the games are delayed cast on NBC and NBCSports.

Was at the Italy Uruguay match...tale of two halves.

Uruguay and Italy fans were great. Once Italy turned it on, it was over.

Off to Paris for the Ireland SA match.

And after the crap show the first two games in Nice, the event last night was better organized. The beer lines were tolerable, and much better with the trains.
