Talented, projected 1st round draft pick in Thursday's NBA draft, but has an unusual set of baggage that I wager no organization will want to deal with if it can't be dealt with easily.

Dude just needs to pop a couple xanax and get on the damn plane?

The problem with popping a xanax is it will effect you until the next day.

I just don't get it. Flying is eons more safe than your typical drive, and people have no problem whatsoever riding in a car. Just close the window and don't look down.

Hm, that is true. Maybe like a lower dose..

Or therapy? Hopefully the therapy wouldn't take too long. One of my mom's friends is over 60 and refuses to get on a plane, under any circumstance.

I've battled a fear of flying at various points in my life and it's really just not that simple.

It stems from being in a a place that's totally unnatural for human beings to be AND having no control at all over it. You have to let go and trust someone else to deliver you safely which isn't always easy for some people to do when they are 30,000 miles above the earth. I've overcome it for the most part and I've never not flown over it but it's a challenge

ever travel by air in the summer, when there are thunderstorms around.

bump.

bump bump.

bump bump.

BUMP

bump bump bump.

put your tray table up.
stay in your seat.
bump.
bump bump bump.

it gets on my nerves.

I was on a flight from Charlotte in which there was a tornado on the ground. Our flight was held up just 15 minutes while the tornado moved off toward the southeast. We took off in black skies.

Is it even logistically possible to use alternate transportation for an entire NBA season?

Dude, I have taken my fair share of xanax with and without alcohol. It definitely makes you feel lazy/lethargic the next day.

It could very well concern professional athletes, of course depending on how much. If any of us were to take a whole bar (2 mg) we'd definitely feel it the next day.

Uh yeah

And you completely lose your tolerance after a few days without taking xanax.

White flew to many games this past season for Iowa State but drove to some contests with his grandfather, including games against Missouri and Kansas State, and the team's NCAA tournament contests in Louisville, Ky., over 600 miles away

Well sounds like when push comes to shove, he'll get on the plane

Definitely wouldn't be a good rookie move to hold up a whole team and piss pants over getting on a plane.
